EMI/RF Absorber Material

Brief Introduction
Now, more ad moe conductive EMI material products and solutions used to solve EMI problems. but at the same time, conductive materials have a reflection effect on electromagnetic waves, which may cause secondary electromagnetic interference to electronic devices. With the trend of developing fast speed and more functions in compact electronic design, excessive EMI decreases system and component performance, and even fails the operation in some extreme situations.
Snowlucky's RF/Wave absorbers are used to solve a wide variety of problems such as internal cavity resonances, antenna pattern shaping, and high-frequency interference. We have rich experience and knowledges to help customer choose the right RF/EMI absorber materials and parts.
Feaatures & Benifits
Coverage frequency ranges from 1MHz to 110GHz.
Comprehensive product line of absorbing materials, Products include: silicone rubber absorbing materials, resin absorbing materials; Foam absorbing materials and thermal absorbing materials. It is convenient for customers to choose from in practical applications.
Normally sheet that can be die-cut, also can be molded a certain shape.

Silicon Rubber RF/EMI Absorber-SAF Series
SAF series microwave absorbers are in thin sheet form loaded with magnetic fillers. Snowlucky specially designs this series products for reflection attenuation of high incident angle wave. Products are suitable for 2 to 40GHz frequency wave absorbing. The silicone elastomer substrate stands high temperature, and is oil resistant and fire retardant. The special magnetic particles fillers make the products excellent microwave absorbing capability when the incident angle is over 65 degrees. SAF series is used to reduce microwave resonance inside enclosure and cavity "Q" value. Also, it could effectively isolate bottom plate and antenna. Together with additional EMI materials, it provides perfect solution for EMI shielding in 2 - 40GHz frequency range. Refer to the following corresponding Return Loss Curve for specific product performance.

Thermal Absorber
Thermal Conductive RF/EMI Aasorber Material-TAF Series
TAF series material is an interface material which is both thermally conductive and RF radiation absorptive; it is a compound of ceramic powder, magnetic filler and corresponding additives. The product can achieve thermal conduction and microwave absorption at low compression force, and it has good insulation properties and environmental stability. TAF can be used to bridge the gap/distance between a noisy & hot component and heatsink.

Foam Absorber
Foam RF/EMI Absorber Material-FAF Series
FAF300
FAF300 series products are flexible, light weight, low density, high loss, carbon impregnated open cell foam. These RF shielding and RF absorbing products are designed with a continuous gradient coating to exhibit high insertion loss and are intended to be applied to metal surfaces inside microwave cavities, housings, radomes, network enclosures or antennae. Thicknesses of foams range from 3.2 mm to 25.4 mm. These products are halogen free, RoHS and REACH compliant.
FAF600
FAF600 is multilayer series absorbers are designed for broadband applications, constructed with multi-layer stacked lightweight, flexible open cell foams. FAF600 absorbers function on an impedance matching principle, with each layer loaded for predetermined loss tangents, exhibiting electrically tapered reflection loss characteristics. This type of RF absorber is mainly for far field requirements and controlling surface currents.

Conductive FIP Glue-LS-ES70 Series
With programmable automated robot, EMI gaskets can be dispensed onto metal, or conductive painted, plated, or metallic surfaces in the electronic enclosures. Form in place gasket (FIP) is suitable for applications that requires environmental sealiental elements. FIP provides the lowest total cost for small cross section and complex pattern applications. A range of conductive fillers can be selected to meet critical design requirement.
Features and Benifts
Perfect shielding performance within the range of 200MHz to 10GHz (greater than 95dB).
Directly molded by dispensing on complex surfaces.Automated precision dispensing FIP, saving labor costs, assembly time, and mold costs
Stable performance and Good corrosion resistance.
After vulcanization, the material has strong adhesion, can adhere to various metal and plastic materials, and is resistant to friction, high temperature, and can be repeatedly disassembled.
The hardness of the vulcanized material is smaller than that of conductive rubber, and the low pressure shrinkage force is very suitable for situations where the mating surfaces are not high.
Space saving, precise dispensing of FIP on very narrow 0.3mm contact surface;
