Conductiv Elastomer and FIP Glue

Brief Introduction
Conductive Elastomer is an elastomer filled with conductive inert particles. It provides high electrical conductivity, broadband shielding and environmental sealing. Conductive Elastomers are manufactured in sheets, extrusions, strips and custom molded parts to fit various applications. Snowlucky Technologies conductive elastomers have become the necessary choice for packaging designers of communication, network, automotive electronics, antennas radar, amplifiers, controllers, inverters, consumer electronics, national defense and aerospace industries.

Category of Conductive Elastomer and FIP Glue
Filler ECE
Condutive Filler Elestomer Gap Pad-LS-CE90 Series
Using ordinary silicone elastomer as the substrate, mixed with conductive particles with good conductive properties, CE is a compound made through a series of complex mixing, vulcanizing and other process. It is the perfect combination of flexibility of the silicone elastomer and high conductivity of conductive particles. Products are not only suitable for conductive grounding and EMI shielding, but also ideal to achieve environmental sealing. Typical conductive particles include silver-coated aluminum, silver-coated glass, silver-coated nickel, silver coated copper, nickel-coated aluminum and nickel-coated graphite, etc. The elastomer base material is mainly silicon or fluorosilicone.

Co-Extrusion ECE
Co-Extrusion Conductive Elastomer-LS-CES90 Series
Snowlucky's Co-extruded conductive elastomer is a new type composite material, which is Co-Extruded by using special die, combining conductive and non-conductive silicone elastomers. Products demonstrate good electrical conductivity and shielding ability. Also, with appropriate groove size, product can achieve excellent waterproof and dust-proof effect; its highest water protection level can be up to IP68. Several models are oil resistant and can withstand high temperature. According to different conductive particles, products could be categorized into Ag/Al + silicone elastomer, Ni/C + silicone elastomer, Ag/Glass + silicone elastomer, and Ag/Al fluorosilicone + silicone elastome.

Coating ECE
Surface Conductive Coating Elastomer-LS-ES80 Series
E-Coating production process is unique and proprietary. Product mechanical structure is ideal for small-sized extruded strip applications. High conductivity and thin conductive layer create high level EMI shielding performance and good electrochemical stability; Snowlucky Technology uses specific primer coating process to ensure the surface coating is reliable in wear, corrosion and aesthetically appealing. The inner core of E-Coating product is non-conductive elastomer. It retains good compression and rebound characteristics even in very small dimensions. E-coating elastomer is an excellent choice for environmental sealing and EMI shielding of small factor and compact structure design. Non-conductive elastomer cost is far less than the conductive elastomer, and only the product surface is plated with thin metal coating. This makes E-coating products very economical and competitive in the market.

Conductive Glue
Conductive FIP Glue-LS-ES70 Series
With programmable automated robot, EMI gaskets can be dispensed onto metal, or conductive painted, plated, or metallic surfaces in the electronic enclosures. Form in place gasket (FIP) is suitable for applications that requires environmental sealiental elements. FIP provides the lowest total cost for small cross section and complex pattern applications. A range of conductive fillers can be selected to meet critical design requirement.
Features and Benifts
Perfect shielding performance within the range of 200MHz to 10GHz (greater than 95dB).
Directly molded by dispensing on complex surfaces.Automated precision dispensing FIP, saving labor costs, assembly time, and mold costs
Stable performance and Good corrosion resistance.
After vulcanization, the material has strong adhesion, can adhere to various metal and plastic materials, and is resistant to friction, high temperature, and can be repeatedly disassembled.
The hardness of the vulcanized material is smaller than that of conductive rubber, and the low pressure shrinkage force is very suitable for situations where the mating surfaces are not high.
Space saving, precise dispensing of FIP on very narrow 0.3mm contact surface;
